We would like to introduce you to the Fowler family.  Marcus, Lisa and their daughter Dakota.  They will be coming to Promise Home November 1, 2016 as long term missionaries.

Fowler Family

Marcus and Lisa met at Atkinson Road Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia. They were married in 1999, and dedicated their marriage and their lives explicitly for the glory of God. Subsequently, their work and their ministry have constantly demonstrated their faith. They have gone wherever He has called them to go… whenever He has called them to go… and completed whatever work He has called them to do.

Early in their ministry they became involved in discipleship and prayer, and these areas quickly became their passion. They have been involved in one-to-one mentoring and group discipleship training, have led church-wide training classes in order to equip believers to disciple others, and, have been a part of Prayer Teams, faithfully lifting prayer requests from a church or group to God.

In 2002, Dakota was added to their ministry team.  She was taught to minister early in her life, while her parents would serve meals to the needy of the community, Dakota was handing out utensils and letting people know “God loves you.”  As she grew, so did her heart for the Lord and for ministry.

Most recently, they served in Central Baptist Church in Sanford, Florida. Marcus led a Men’s class for several years on Wednesday evenings where he used Scripture to teach Gods Truths, with an emphasis on understanding Scripture. Marcus and Lisa served at a local drug and alcohol rehab/detox clinic conducting Sunday service and both taught their own Bible Study Class. Lisa and Dakota served in the AWANA ministry, teaching the children by using object lessons and science experiments to share Biblical Truths. Dakota also served in the nursery on Sunday. Their life emphasis was how to apply the Word of God to everyday living.
The Fowler family is honored to serve at Promise Home Honduras and Promise Home Church. Marcus is assisting the pastor to train the church and community, with a primary focus of discipleship training and developing a prayer ministry. Lisa will assist in ministering to the community, but with a focus on helping administer care to the children of Promise Home. In a recent trip to our home, Dakota has already fallen in love with the children of Promise Home as well as the community. She will be a wonderful asset to this team ministering and showing Gods love to everyone involved.

We are excited to have the Fowler family as missionaries at Promise Home and would ask that you add them to your daily prayer list.
Bill
