Two weeks ago we had Brent Stuckey’s construction team (group of nine) from Indiana come to Promise Home to do a week of hard work. Everyone worked on the new 30’ bridge.  The bridge now gives Promise Home an entrance for large trucks to our tilapia business.  The team worked hard for five days on this project.

In addition to the bridge project, the team completed two community construction projects as well:

• They ran secondary power, installed power outlets and three florescent box lights into a small school. This is a very poor village that had saved for years just to get secondary power to their area. Installing lights and power to their school was not going to happened for years. Our team installed the lights and power in one day.

•  They also installed florescent lights in Julio’s church and with their spare time painted the front wall of the inside of the church.

This team left a large footprint in our community and gave everyone they met a chance to see the love of Jesus.
